The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) took effect on 25 May 2018. The new rules shall be applied with regard to the recruitment and hiring process, the job interview, the contracts with the headhunters as well as the temporary work agencies, the retaining of the employment related records or the forwarding of personal data for instance in case of outsourced services such as payroll.
